Crypto scams are real, and transfers are usually irreversible. Learn the red flags before you send money. Coinwaka will never ask for your password, recovery phrase, 2FA code, transaction PIN, or remote access to your phone.
Before you send crypto: if someone promises guaranteed profit, asks you to send crypto first, or says you must pay a fee to unlock funds, stop and verify. Once a transfer confirms, it usually cannot be reversed.
Coinwaka will never
Ask for your password
Ask for your 2FA code
Ask for your transaction PIN
Ask for your seed phrase or private key
Ask you to install AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or any remote-control app
Ask you to send money to a staff or personal wallet
Promise guaranteed profit
Ask you to pay a fee to unlock frozen funds
Contact you first from random WhatsApp or Telegram numbers
If anyone does any of the above in Coinwaka’s name, it is a scam. Report it.
Know the scams
Every pattern below has cost real people real money. Search by what is happening to you.
Check if this looks suspicious
Answer about the situation you are in right now. Tick everything that applies.
The result is rules-based guidance, not a guarantee. When in doubt, do not send.
Already sent funds?
1Stop all contact with the scammer. Do not pay anything more, including "taxes" or "release fees".
2Secure your account: change your password, check your devices and sessions, and keep 2FA on.
4Report it to Coinwaka below so our risk team can trace addresses and protect other users.
5Report to the police and your mobile money or bank provider as soon as possible.
Be careful with anyone offering to recover your crypto. Many “recovery experts” are scammers too. An upfront fee to recover funds is a second scam.
Report suspicious activity
Report a scam, a suspicious Coinwaka account, a phishing link, or a fraudulent wallet address. Our risk team reviews every report; repeat-reported accounts face holds and review.

Know the risks
Crypto assets are volatile and may not have the same protections as bank deposits or regulated payment products. Understand the risks before buying, selling, or transferring crypto, and only use money you can afford to lose.
Verify official channels: Coinwaka operates at coinwaka.com. Support works inside the app and from official @coinwaka.com email addresses, and will never contact you first on WhatsApp or Telegram asking for codes or payments.
